    Strategic Thinking

    Strategic Thinking: the process of thinking things through 



    More and more, individuals are being asked to “think strategically” as part of their everyday work. The workshop explores what strategic thinking is, why we need it, how to use it and how to develop it. It will explore the importance of strategic thinking and the overall approach you need to take.  It will provide tips on how to develop your own capacity and set out key questions that you need to ask, with a special focus on what senior executives and Ministers are looking for.

    ü  You will know the strategic thinking process, key questions you need to address  and traps to avoid.

    ü  You will  strengthen your own strategic thinking capacity.

    ü  You will apply strategic thinking to your work

    The Approach

    The one-day workshop is delivered by strong strategic thinkers well- versed in successfully applying the approach to their day to day work.

    The day will include individual and group exercises, case studies, discussion and draw on the experiences of those in the room to complement the knowledge of the workshop leader.

    Anyone who wants to strengthen their strategic thinking skills especially those in policy development.  There is no suggested job or experience level for this workshop.  You know if you need to work on this skill.

    The workshop can be delivered in English or French on demand for up to 25 individuals from a single organization at a group rate with a focus on your organization’s work through the case studies.
